2 years ago today

2 years ago today I sat on our living room couch anxiously awaiting for Dan to get home from work to share the wonderful news that we were expecting! I remember being so nervous to tell him.

That morning I was not feeling myself and was a few days late, so I decided to go out and buy a pregnancy test. I have never had a normal cycle (TMI) so I was in complete shock when the pregnancy test came back positive!!!! I couldn't believe it! I immediately jumped in the car and ran to the store to buy two more tests. I wanted to make sure the test I used was not a dud!
Sure enough ALL 3 tests were positive!!!  We were pregnant!!!! Yaaayyy!! I found this news out at 8am in the morning which ment I had 6 hours to wait to tell anyone! I think the time that I had alone to think about it made me go a little bit crazy! I spent 5 hours pacing the living room practicing how I was going to tell Dan the news. The other hour was spent on the internet searching everything under the sun that had the title pregnancy in it! Those were the longest 6 hours of my life!!!!
By the time Dan arrived home I was no longer pacing, I was sitting on the couch Indian style with the most nervous look on my face. Dan walked through the door, read my face and immediately noticed something was wrong with me. I remember him saying "Is everything ok?" I took one look at him and bust into tears. He ran over to me and said, "What's wrong?" I said, in a sobbing broken voice, "We're pregnant!!!" Dan looked at me with such excitement and said "This is awesome!" Talk about the best reaction I could have asked for! We spent the next few hours examining my 6 week belly bump ( there was nothing there ) talking about parenthood, and if baby Littlefield # 1 was going to be a boy or girl?

To this day I'm still not sure why I was so nervous or emotional to tell him, I blame it on my hormones!

Since that amazing day two years ago, our lives have never been the same.

Looking back.....

How we shared the news with family & friends.
Our first picture of Callie.

We celebrated!

Last prego picture!

First time Dan/Daddy held Callie.

Our first family photo.

My first time holding Callie.

So happy& so in love!

Dan could not stop taking pictures.

Here we are two years later and we couldn't imagine life without Callie! She is our world and we love her more than words can explain!

I can't believe in just two short months we will be bringing another sweet girl into the world! God is so good!

30 weeks

Yay! Yay! Yay! Is all I can say! For some reason in my head 30 weeks is a huge milestone in the pregnancy world!
Let the countdown begin! With callie I went into labor at 38 weeks and 5 days, I'm hoping this sweet little girl decides to make her entrance into our family around the same time frame!
38 weeks of pregnancy is enough for me,  especially at the rate at which this belly and baby are growing.
Here is my 30 week shot! It's freezing( 6 degrees) and snowing here today in Virginia.

Fun Around Town

I just love this fur vest.

We had a play day with Callie's friend Quinn. Quinn and Callie are exactly one month apart! Its been so fun to watch them grow up together! They look so grown up in this picture.
Just do it!
Callie and I sported our matching nike shoes this week.
I love having a daughter to dress like me.
Dan went to California for the weekend to spend sometime with his brother and get some much needed golf in before baby littlefield # 2 arrives.
After doing some research Dan and I decided on this Kolcraft double stroller. This stroller has 6 different seating options! So awesome!
I can't wait to take walks with both the girls this summer!
Taking it for a test drive! Callie loves it!
Due to the very cold weather most of our days have been spent inside. We have had plenty of time to catch up on some Elmo.
And snuggle. <3
Callie has become my little helper around meal time. Every morning we make a fruit& vegetable smoothie. Callie loves them!! little does she know they are actually good for her.
Sunday morning at church. I  love this little fur coat, i wish they sold it in my size.
Just hanging around. This ergo baby carrier is the worlds best baby creation!
Callie playing on her new/used playground.
Dan and I thought it would be a good idea to get Callie a play set at the house since this summer it will be a little more challenging to get out of the house with two children under the age of two.
If you can't tell by her massive grin she loves it!

Callie the purse lady

One of my favorite things to do is thrifting. I love finding a one of a kind piece for an awesome price! Since having Callie, I've found myself at thrift stores & second hand kid's stores more often due to the awesome deals and adorable kids clothes.
This week Callie and I ventured out to one of my favorite spots and Callie did a little shopping of her own! <3
We were not in the store 5 minutes before Callie started pointing to the purse section and saying "mi mi,  mi mi", which I think means me or mine. I pushed our cart over to the purse section where she pointed and picked out a handful of purses. I of course let her pull all the ones she liked off the rack and put them in our shopping cart to play with and enjoy while we were in the store.... not with the intention of buying any of them!
Callie on the other hand had a different plan in mind. After we completed our shopping, we headed to the register to check out. This is when I realized that Callie had all 5 purses she had picked out draped over her arm. (the ladies in the store loved it) I attempted to put a few of them back, when the tears came :(  my heart broke!
I had a total 'you only live once kinda moment' and gave in and let her buy the hot pick Victoria Secret purse that she had her fingers glued to. Victoria Secret for a 1 1/2 year old, I know!!! but this momma could not resist her cuteness! (Who knows, I might even get some use out of it, it is rather cute! )
We left the store purse in tow, one happy Callie, and a memory I will cherish forever.
3 days later, I'm not regretting my purchase one bit! She plays with her purse more than any of her other toys!

28 weeks

28 Weeks.

Sorry this picture is so blurry, its taken from my iPhone. I need to get better about using our good camera, its just so easy to upload pictures from my cell phone! Anyways! Happy 28 weeks to our sweet baby girl. We love you so much and can't wait to meet you in March! If you are anything like you are in my belly dan/daddy and I are going to have our hands full. You are so active, kicking, punching and doing flips all the time. I absolutely love it!

First pregnancy on the right, current pregnancy on the left. I feel like this little girl is sitting in my rib cage. My bump is way higher than last time.
