Happy 5 months Taylor Brynn

Happy 5 months to our sweet Taylor Brynn. I'm not sure where time is going, but its moving entirely to fast. In the last month things have really started to change. You are exchanging your fussy colic times for happy times filled with the most adorable gummy smiles.
You are rolling all over the place, and no longer can be swaddled during bed time.
You have succesfully found your feet and hands and make arm/hand gestures like a conductor, it's adorable.
This is probably one of my favorite ages with you! You are the perfect cuddle size. I love to lay your little body on my chest and nuzzle your sweet little head under my chin.
We started solids with you about two weeks ago, and you love them! So far banana and apple seem to be your favorite. You are such a great eater!!
Each month gets better and better with you miss Taylor Brynn Littlefield! We fall more in love with you with each passing day.
Happy 5 months Taylor! We love you!!!

Animals Animals Animals

Lately Callie has figured out there are different types of animals and that they all make different noises. Over the course of the last few weeks, we have checked out quit a few different zoos, aquariums, and safari parks to show her these animals in real life. She has a had a blast and is really starting to understand what noise goes with what animal.

Our first adventure was to the national zoo in Washington, DC. I don't have very many pictures from this day, b/c most of the animals were either resting or unable to be seen.
Our second adventure was to the Reston safari park with Emma and Lucas. This place was so much fun and had so much for the kiddos to be entertained with. We started the day with a hay ride through the pasture where we fed ostrich, deer, long horned cattle, pigs, and some other funky animals. We then headed over to the barn and bottle fed baby goats!!! This I'm pretty sure was Callie's highlight of the entire place. Overall the day was nothing short of awesome and fun was had by all.

Our third adventure was to the Leesburg Animal park in Leesburg, VA. We ventured out one Sunday afternoon with the family. Callie did an awesome job feeding the animals with daddy. This animal park I think was the best park that we have been to yet! Everything was brand new, very organized and they had a wide variety of animals. I'm sure we will be taking a trip back very soon! Here are a few pictures from our day.

Our  fourth adventure was to the Baltimore Aquarium. Callie had such a great time checking out all the fish but her favorite aquatic animal by far was the massive sting ray. She loved watching them float around in the massive pool. Here are a few pictures from our fun day.

Holland in Haymarket

Now that life has slowed down a bit, I plan to catch up on my blog over the course of the next few weeks. Our Spring/Summer has been off to an amazing start and packed with so many fun days.

Last year a friend told me about this amazing tulip farm in Haymarket, Va. Dan and I decided to check  it out, and were truly amazed. This year I could not wait for the fields to be open to return. Callie, Taylor and I made it a total of 3 times out to the fields, but most def could have gone everyday. The flowers are so breathtaking and the farm is such a fun place to spend the afternoon.

Our first trip out to the tulip farm was at the very beginning of the season. The daffodils were in full bloom and the tulips were just beginning to pop. My grandma, aunt and cousin were in town from New York & New Jersey and i couldn't resist bringing them to check out the flower and snap some memorable photos.

Love my grandma!

The second time we went the tulips were almost in full bloom. My mom, me and the girls had and amazing day. The weather was perfect and the tulips were more beautiful than what i remembered from the year before.
